Death Brings Life
For a seed to bear fruit it has to be buried (to die) in order to give life. There's no life without death and our ultimate example is the life of our Savior. But from death the first most important step is to grieve. Of which there are five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance). When we grieve it allows us to feel our pain and process it or we could run from it. This process reminds me of the metamorphosis of a butterfly. It starts off as a moth and evolves into a colorful butterfly. The moth is almost the shape of a corpse which signifies death to me. And then it sheds off outer layers so it could become a butterfly with colorful wings and a new shape. As humans going through grief we need the help of God, family, therapists and spiritual support maybe in the form of a leader and/or community. But the beauty of the transformation of a butterfly is that it took time to change. Maybe it's time to grieve so you can change and become who God crea
